Choose the right consultant.
It all starts with curiosity. Maybe it starts with what your business is worth, or how long it will take to sell, or what it will cost to sell. All of these questions are a good first step, but I recommend you find someone who is just as curious as you, but curious about your business, about what makes it successful, and about what your priorities are.
We give as much value as we can on our website to those who are curious enough to explore, for free. We do this because it’s the tip of the iceberg to what we can provide, and we want you to know that we’re serious about winning, and we’re willing to freely share this process with anyone who wants to learn.
Other questions for you to consider:
How does your consultant/broker get paid? Commission? Hourly? Retainer?
How well do can they define your priorities? (Hint: it should be exactly what you want, not the other way around).
Do they offer suggestions on how to expedite the process and maximize your businesses value?
Do they offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Are they interested in you, or just a paycheck?
As you may be able to tell, we’re passionate about what we do, and because of that passion we’re able to perform at a level that our peers simply cannot compete with.
